| A vulnerability in the web interface for Cisco Prime Collaboration Provisioning could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to bypass authentication and perform command injection with root privileges. The vulnerability is due to missing security constraints in certain HTTP request methods, which could allow access to files via the web interface. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a crafted HTTP request to the targeted application. This vulnerability affects Cisco Prime Collaboration Provisioning Software Releases prior to 12.1. Cisco Bug IDs: CSCvc98724. | ||||
| CVE-2017-6623 | 1 Cisco | 1 Policy Suite | 2025-04-20 | N/A |
| A vulnerability in a script file that is installed as part of the Cisco Policy Suite (CPS) Software distribution for the CPS appliance could allow an authenticated, local attacker to escalate their privilege level to root. The vulnerability is due to incorrect sudoers permissions on the script file. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by authenticating to the device and providing crafted user input at the CLI, using this script file to escalate their privilege level and execute commands as root. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to acquire root-level privileges and take full control of the appliance. The user has to be logged-in to the device with valid credentials for a specific set of users. The Cisco Policy Suite application is vulnerable when running software versions 10.0.0, 10.1.0, or 11.0.0. Cisco Bug IDs: CSCvc07366. | ||||

| A vulnerability in Cisco IOS 15.5(3)M Software for Cisco CallManager Express (CME) could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to make unauthorized phone calls. The vulnerability is due to a configuration restriction in the toll-fraud protections component of the affected software. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability to place unauthorized, long-distance phone calls by using an affected system. Cisco Bug IDs: CSCuy40939. | ||||
| CVE-2017-6635 | 1 Cisco | 1 Prime Collaboration Provisioning | 2025-04-20 | N/A |
| A vulnerability in the web interface of Cisco Prime Collaboration Provisioning Software (prior to Release 12.1) could allow an authenticated, remote attacker to delete any file from an affected system. The vulnerability exists because the affected software does not perform proper input validation of HTTP requests and fails to apply role-based access controls (RBACs) to requested HTTP URLs. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a crafted HTTP request that uses directory traversal techniques to submit a path to a desired file location on an affected system. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to delete any file from the system. Cisco Bug IDs: CSCvc99597. | ||||
| CVE-2017-8308 | 1 Avast | 1 Antivirus | 2025-04-20 | N/A |
| In Avast Antivirus before v17, an unprivileged user (and thus malware or a virus) can mark an arbitrary process as Trusted from the perspective of the Avast product. This bypasses the Self-Defense feature of the product, opening a door to subsequent attack on many of its components. | ||||
| CVE-2017-8114 | 1 Roundcube | 1 Webmail | 2025-04-20 | 8.8 High |
| Roundcube Webmail allows arbitrary password resets by authenticated users. This affects versions before 1.0.11, 1.1.x before 1.1.9, and 1.2.x before 1.2.5. The problem is caused by an improperly restricted exec call in the virtualmin and sasl drivers of the password plugin. | ||||

| CVE-2017-6507 | 2 Apparmor, Canonical | 3 Apparmor, Ubuntu Core, Ubuntu Touch | 2025-04-20 | N/A |
| An issue was discovered in AppArmor before 2.12. Incorrect handling of unknown AppArmor profiles in AppArmor init scripts, upstart jobs, and/or systemd unit files allows an attacker to possibly have increased attack surfaces of processes that were intended to be confined by AppArmor. This is due to the common logic to handle 'restart' operations removing AppArmor profiles that aren't found in the typical filesystem locations, such as /etc/apparmor.d/. Userspace projects that manage their own AppArmor profiles in atypical directories, such as what's done by LXD and Docker, are affected by this flaw in the AppArmor init script logic. | ||||
| CVE-2017-6401 | 1 Veritas | 2 Netbackup, Netbackup Appliance | 2025-04-20 | N/A |
| An issue was discovered in Veritas NetBackup before 8.0 and NetBackup Appliance before 3.0. Local arbitrary command execution can occur when using bpcd and bpnbat. | ||||
| CVE-2017-6342 | 1 Dahuasecurity | 4 Camera Firmware, Dhi-hcvr7216a-s3, Nvr Firmware and 1 more | 2025-04-20 | N/A |
| An issue was discovered on Dahua DHI-HCVR7216A-S3 devices with NVR Firmware 3.210.0001.10 2016-06-06, Camera Firmware 2.400.0000.28.R 2016-03-29, and SmartPSS Software 1.16.1 2017-01-19. When SmartPSS Software is launched, while on the login screen, the software in the background automatically logs in as admin. This allows sniffing sensitive information identified in CVE-2017-6341 without prior knowledge of the password. This is a different vulnerability than CVE-2013-6117. | ||||
| CVE-2017-6339 | 1 Trendmicro | 1 Interscan Web Security Virtual Appliance | 2025-04-20 | N/A |
| Trend Micro InterScan Web Security Virtual Appliance (IWSVA) 6.5 before CP 1746 mismanages certain key and certificate data. Per IWSVA documentation, by default, IWSVA acts as a private Certificate Authority (CA) and dynamically generates digital certificates that are sent to client browsers to complete a secure passage for HTTPS connections. It also allows administrators to upload their own certificates signed by a root CA. An attacker with low privileges can download the current CA certificate and Private Key (either the default ones or ones uploaded by administrators) and use those to decrypt HTTPS traffic, thus compromising confidentiality. Also, the default Private Key on this appliance is encrypted with a very weak passphrase. If an appliance uses the default Certificate and Private Key provided by Trend Micro, an attacker can simply download these and decrypt the Private Key using the default/weak passphrase. | ||||
| CVE-2017-17087 | 3 Canonical, Debian, Vim | 3 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Vim | 2025-04-20 | 5.5 Medium |
| fileio.c in Vim prior to 8.0.1263 sets the group ownership of a .swp file to the editor's primary group (which may be different from the group ownership of the original file), which allows local users to obtain sensitive information by leveraging an applicable group membership, as demonstrated by /etc/shadow owned by root:shadow mode 0640, but /etc/.shadow.swp owned by root:users mode 0640, a different vulnerability than CVE-2017-1000382. | ||||

| In Paessler PRTG Network Monitor 17.3.33.2830, it's possible to create a Map as a read-only user, by forging a request and sending it to the server. | ||||
| CVE-2017-15055 | 1 Teampass | 1 Teampass | 2025-04-20 | N/A |
| TeamPass before 2.1.27.9 does not properly enforce item access control when requesting items.queries.php. It is then possible to copy any arbitrary item into a directory controlled by the attacker, edit any item within a read-only directory, delete an arbitrary item, delete the file attachments of an arbitrary item, copy the password of an arbitrary item to the copy/paste buffer, access the history of an arbitrary item, and edit attributes of an arbitrary directory. To exploit the vulnerability, an authenticated attacker must tamper with the requests sent directly, for example by changing the "item_id" parameter when invoking "copy_item" on items.queries.php. | ||||
