| CVE-2026-91059 | 1 Eclipse | 1 Threadx Guix | 2026-10-21 | N/A |
| The GUIX JPEG software decoder enforces no ordering on JPEG markers. A file that places a second `SOF0` frame header after `SOS` re-runs the frame header parser after the output buffer has already been allocated and its geometry latched. The decoder returns `GX_SUCCESS` and publishes a `GX_PIXELMAP` whose reported dimensions and `data_size` exceed the allocation behind it. Any consumer that trusts the returned structure reads out of bounds, including GUIX's own display drivers, reached through the ordinary draw path. Reproduces in the shipped default configuration; `GX_SOFTWARE_DECODER_SUPPORT` is enabled by default. | ||||
| CVE-2026-92454 | 1 Eclipse | 1 Threadx Guix | 2026-10-21 | 6.1 Medium |
| The GUIX software JPEG decoder reads four kinds of marker segment without checking that each is long enough to hold what it reads. A truncated segment is therefore read past the end of the caller's image buffer. Separately, a zero chroma sampling factor makes the block decode loop non-terminating. Both reproduce in the default configuration, in which `GX_SOFTWARE_DECODER_SUPPORT` is enabled. | ||||
| CVE-2026-91057 | 1 Eclipse | 1 Threadx Guix | 2026-10-21 | N/A |
| `_gx_multi_line_text_view_display_info_get()` reads one byte past the end of the application's text buffer when the string it is given ends with a carriage return (`\r`). The over-read can also cause callers to advance their index past the end of the string, producing a second over-read in `_gx_multi_line_text_view_string_total_rows_compute()` and a row of text that is not in the source. | ||||
| CVE-2026-83856 | 1 Microsoft | 13 Windows 11 23h2, Windows 11 23h2, Windows 11 24h2 and 10 more | 2026-10-21 | 7.5 High |
| Out-of-bounds read in Windows Event Logging Service allows an unauthorized attacker to execute code over a network. | ||||
| CVE-2026-95507 | 1 Libslirp Project | 1 Libslirp | 2026-10-21 | 4.3 Medium |
| An out-of-bounds read was found in the NC-SI OEM response handler of libslirp. A truncated NC-SI OEM Ethernet frame causes ncsi_rsp_handler_oem() to read up to 4 bytes beyond the supplied packet length and reflect the value into the response sent to the guest, resulting in guest-observable disclosure of adjacent host process memory. | ||||

| CVE-2025-23133 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-21 | 8.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: ath11k: update channel list in reg notifier instead reg worker Currently when ath11k gets a new channel list, it will be processed according to the following steps: 1. update new channel list to cfg80211 and queue reg_work. 2. cfg80211 handles new channel list during reg_work. 3. update cfg80211's handled channel list to firmware by ath11k_reg_update_chan_list(). But ath11k will immediately execute step 3 after reg_work is just queued. Since step 2 is asynchronous, cfg80211 may not have completed handling the new channel list, which may leading to an out-of-bounds write error: BUG: KASAN: slab-out-of-bounds in ath11k_reg_update_chan_list Call Trace: ath11k_reg_update_chan_list+0xbfe/0xfe0 [ath11k] kfree+0x109/0x3a0 ath11k_regd_update+0x1cf/0x350 [ath11k] ath11k_regd_update_work+0x14/0x20 [ath11k] process_one_work+0xe35/0x14c0 Should ensure step 2 is completely done before executing step 3. Thus Wen raised patch[1]. When flag NL80211_REGDOM_SET_BY_DRIVER is set, cfg80211 will notify ath11k after step 2 is done. So enable the flag NL80211_REGDOM_SET_BY_DRIVER then cfg80211 will notify ath11k after step 2 is done. At this time, there will be no KASAN bug during the execution of the step 3. | CVE-2026-98168 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-21 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: smb: client: fix reparse buffer bounds in cifs_query_reparse_point() In cifs_query_reparse_point(), the start >= end check before casting to struct reparse_data_buffer * only ensures the start pointer is within the response. It fails to verify that there is enough space remaining for the fixed 8-byte header of the structure. If a server provides a DataOffset that leaves less than 8 bytes remaining, the check passes, but subsequent reads of ReparseTag and ReparseDataLength will occur out-of-bounds. Fix this by ensuring the remaining space is at least the size of the reparse_data_buffer structure before accessing its fields. | ||||
| CVE-2026-98053 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-21 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ASoC: Intel: avs: Refactor and fix init_config access Existing code accesses enties found in ->init_configs array through indexes that are part of ->config_ids array. Those two are limited by: ->num_init_configs and ->num_config_ids respectively. Using ID larger or equal to ->num_init_configs leads to out-of-bounds access: avs_path_module_send_init_configs() loop: (...) &acomp->tplg->init_configs[ids[i]] ^ out-of-bounds candidate Rather than adding another if-statement, refactor the code. There is no need to store the IDs, have a list of pointers to actual config-entries instead. As the verification of ->init_config entries does not differ from verification of other types that are part of the topology.c file, simply reuse the code. | ||||
| CVE-2026-98041 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-21 | 7 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: Don't predict JMP32 pointer vs zero comparisons Consider the following program: r1 = map_value; /* low 32 bits are zero at runtime */ r6 = 0xdead000000000000; if w1 != 0 goto l1; l0: r1 += r6; r2 = *(u64 *)(r1 + 0); exit; l1: r6 = 0; goto l0; At the moment is_branch_taken() reports the jump as always taken, because it does not distinguish between BPF_JMP and BPF_JMP32 comparisons when processing 'if w1 != 0 ...'. | ||||
| CVE-2026-97915 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-21 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: accel/ivpu: Limit firmware log name prints to field size The name in struct vpu_tracing_buffer_header is a fixed-size array populated by the NPU firmware. It is expected to be NUL-terminated, but nothing on the host side enforces this, so printing it with an unbounded string conversion would read past the field if the terminator is ever missing and expose adjacent bytes of the shared tracing BO through dmesg and the debugfs FW log output. Print at most as many characters as the name field holds, so the output never runs past it even if the string is not NUL-terminated. | ||||
| CVE-2026-97906 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-21 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bootconfig: Fix integer overflow in initrd size check Sashiko reported that in get_boot_config_from_initrd(), a crafted initrd with a huge bootconfig size (such as 0xFFFFFFFF) can cause the pointer arithmetic: data = ((void *)hdr) - size; to wrap around on 32-bit systems (or when pointer subtraction overflows). Because data wraps around, the subsequent bounds check: if ((unsigned long)data < initrd_start) evaluates to false, bypassing the check. The kernel then calls xbc_calc_checksum(data, size), which attempts to read 4GB of memory, hitting unmapped pages and triggering a fatal kernel page fault during early boot. Furthermore, on 64-bit systems with an initrd > 4.29 GB, an unbounded 32-bit size can similarly bypass the initrd_start check. Fix this by: 1. Ensuring the initrd is at least large enough to contain the bootconfig footer and verifying hdr is within the initrd bounds. 2. Checking that size does not exceed XBC_DATA_MAX and does not exceed the available space between initrd_start and hdr before performing pointer subtraction. | ||||
| CVE-2026-97428 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-21 | 7.7 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amdgpu: harden FRU PIA parsing with bounded helpers Replace the open-coded TLV walk with fru_pia_advance() and fru_pia_copy_field() helpers that bound every read by the actual EEPROM data length, preventing out-of-bounds reads on truncated or malformed FRU data. | ||||
| CVE-2026-93148 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-21 | 7.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: Reject MEM_ALLOC BTF accesses past object bounds BTF struct walks relax the struct-size check for accesses through a trailing flexible array. That is valid for ordinary BTF type walking, but PTR_TO_BTF_ID | MEM_ALLOC values point to objects allocated with the static BTF type size. When walking a MEM_ALLOC object, reject the access before applying the flexible-array relaxation if the access range extends past the struct size. Apply the same policy to struct ID matching so kfunc and kptr type checks do not walk past the allocated object bounds either. | ||||
| CVE-2026-89906 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-21 | 7.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: LoongArch: BPF: Refactor jump offset calculation in tail call The old macro-based jmp_offset calculation derives the jump distance from a stale prior-pass code stride, which can lead to wrong branch offsets and soft lockups under extra JIT passes. Fix this by calculating the offset directly on the absolute target: "ctx->offset[insn + 1] - ctx->idx". To avoid a false 16-bit range check abort during size estimation, add a "ctx->image == NULL" guard to inject a safe dummy offset. | ||||
| CVE-2026-68447 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-21 | 7.1 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amdkfd: clamp v9 CRIU control stack checkpoint copy to BO size CRIU checkpoint copies the MQD control stack using cp_hqd_cntl_stack_size from hardware without bounding it to the allocated BO region. If the HW field is larger than the queue's control stack allocation, memcpy reads past the BO into adjacent GTT memory and can leak kernel data to userspace. Store the page-aligned control stack BO size in mqd_manager and clamp checkpoint copies and reported checkpoint sizes to min(cp_hqd_cntl_stack_size, mm->ctl_stack_size). Apply the same bound for multi-XCC v9.4.3 checkpoint layout. (cherry picked from commit 6c2abd0ec09e86c6323010673766f76050e28aa3) | ||||
