| CVE-2026-109971 | 2 Red Hat, Redhat | 4 Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux, Openshift and 1 more | 2026-10-30 | 4.7 Medium |
| A flaw was found in the clevis PKCS#11 pin. The clevis-decrypt-pkcs11 script passes the PKCS#11 token PIN as a command-line argument to pkcs11-tool, making it visible to any local user through process listing or the /proc filesystem. | ||||
| CVE-2026-109970 | 2 Red Hat, Redhat | 4 Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux, Openshift and 1 more | 2026-10-30 | 4.7 Medium |
| A flaw was found in the clevis PKCS#11 pin. The clevis-luks-pkcs11-askpin script writes the PKCS#11 token PIN in plaintext to a file without setting restrictive permissions. Under the default process umask, the file is world-readable. Additionally, the PIN file is not reliably cleaned up if the decryption script exits early, leaving the PIN accessible indefinitely. | ||||
| CVE-2026-109969 | 2 Red Hat, Redhat | 4 Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux, Openshift and 1 more | 2026-10-30 | 4.7 Medium |
| A flaw was found in the clevis PKCS#11 pin. The clevis-pkcs11-afunix-socket-unlock daemon creates AF_UNIX sockets without explicit permission restrictions or peer credential verification. Under a permissive process umask, any local user can connect to the control socket and inject arbitrary device/key pairs, or connect to the data socket to receive LUKS passphrases. | ||||
| CVE-2026-109968 | 2 Red Hat, Redhat | 4 Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux, Openshift and 1 more | 2026-10-30 | 5.5 Medium |
| A flaw was found in the clevis PKCS#11 pin. The clevis-pkcs11-afunix-socket-unlock daemon logs LUKS disk encryption passphrases in plaintext to a log file. The log file is created without restrictive permissions, making it world-readable under the default process umask. A local attacker can read the log file to obtain the LUKS passphrase. | ||||
| CVE-2026-85231 | 1 Redhat | 3 Enterprise Linux, Hummingbird, Openshift | 2026-10-30 | 6.5 Medium |
| A flaw was found in libtirpc. An authenticated remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending oversized wrapped data requests to an RPC (Remote Procedure Call) service configured with RPCSEC_GSS (Remote Procedure Call Security-Generic Security Service) integrity or privacy. This can lead to unbounded memory allocation, resulting in a Denial of Service (DoS) by exhausting system resources and causing the service to become unstable or terminate. | ||||
| CVE-2026-93007 | 1 Redhat | 4 Ceph Storage, Enterprise Linux, Openshift and 1 more | 2026-10-30 | 5.3 Medium |
| A flaw was found in dnsmasq. The TCP DNS service uses a small fixed pool of child processes and does not set a receive timeout on client connections. A remote attacker can open idle TCP connections to port 53 and occupy the entire pool, preventing new TCP DNS connections and DNSSEC validation that requires TCP fallback. UDP DNS resolution continues, and occupied slots are released after a fixed lifetime. | ||||
| CVE-2026-113496 | 1 Redhat | 1 Enterprise Linux | 2026-10-30 | 5 Medium |
| A flaw was found in cockpit-machines. When saving Virtual Network Computing (VNC) console settings, the configured password is passed directly as a command-line argument to an underlying system utility. A local unprivileged attacker on a host that allows cross-user process inspection could read the exposed password from the process list while another user modifies settings. This credential disclosure can allow unauthorized access to the guest virtual machine's graphical console. | ||||
| CVE-2026-113495 | 1 Redhat | 1 Enterprise Linux | 2026-10-30 | 5 Medium |
| A flaw was found in cockpit-machines. Red Hat Subscription Management (RHSM) authentication tokens are passed as command-line arguments to background helper processes during image retrieval operations. A local, unprivileged attacker on a system permitting cross-user process inspection can view these arguments while the process is active. This flaw can lead to information disclosure, potentially allowing unauthorized access to RHSM resources within the token's validity period. | ||||
| CVE-2026-92822 | 1 Redhat | 3 Enterprise Linux, Hummingbird, Openshift | 2026-10-30 | 6.2 Medium |
| A flaw was found in libmodulemd. When parsing module metadata, the xmd field is converted into nested GVariant values through recursive YAML mapping and sequence helpers without a recursion-depth or node-count limit. An attacker who can supply crafted modulemd YAML with deeply nested xmd content can cause stack exhaustion or excessive resource consumption, resulting in a denial of service. | ||||
| CVE-2026-42012 | 2 Gnu, Redhat | 17 Gnutls, Cert Manager, Discovery and 14 more | 2026-10-30 | 7.1 High |
| A flaw was found in gnutls. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability by presenting a specially crafted certificate that contains Uniform Resource Identifier (URI) or Service (SRV) Subject Alternative Names (SANs). This could cause the certificate validation process to incorrectly fall back to checking DNS hostnames against the Common Name (CN), potentially allowing the attacker to spoof legitimate services or intercept sensitive information. | ||||
| CVE-2026-93011 | 1 Redhat | 4 Ceph Storage, Enterprise Linux, Openshift and 1 more | 2026-10-30 | 5.3 Medium |
| A flaw was found in dnsmasq. After a reduction of internal domain-name buffer sizes, the DNSSEC validator can write a few bytes past a name buffer when converting names to and from DNS wire format. An attacker who can cause the server to validate a crafted DNSSEC response may overwrite a small amount of adjacent heap metadata. DNSSEC support is not compiled in by default and must also be enabled at runtime. | ||||
| CVE-2026-92824 | 2 Red Hat, Redhat | 6 Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux, Hardened Images and 3 more | 2026-10-30 | 6.2 Medium |
| A flaw was found in libmodulemd. In the module stream v2 rpm-map emission path, an inner loop incorrectly uses the count of digest algorithms as its bound instead of the number of checksums in the current digest table. Crafted modulemd v2 metadata with multiple digest types can trigger an out-of-bounds read during YAML serialization, typically causing a crash and resulting in a denial of service. | ||||
| CVE-2026-92823 | 1 Redhat | 3 Enterprise Linux, Hummingbird, Openshift | 2026-10-30 | 6.2 Medium |
| A flaw was found in libmodulemd. In builds with rpmio support enabled, compressed modulemd YAML is decompressed through a custom read handler that does not enforce a cumulative decompressed-size limit before parsing. An attacker who can supply a highly compressible compressed YAML file can cause excessive CPU and memory consumption, resulting in a denial of service. | ||||
| CVE-2026-76781 | 1 Redhat | 6 Enterprise Linux, Hardened Images, Hummingbird and 3 more | 2026-10-30 | 5.5 Medium |
| A flaw was found in libxml2. A local user or an attacker providing a specially crafted XML catalog can trigger a NULL pointer dereference during XML catalog parsing. This occurs when a `nextCatalog` element lacks its mandatory `catalog` attribute, leading to the application crashing and causing a Denial of Service (DoS). | ||||
| CVE-2026-71226 | 2 Redhat, Smuellerdd | 8 Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus, Hardened Images and 5 more | 2026-10-30 | 7.3 High |
| Memory Corruption via Uncanceled AIO Requests on Error: libkcapi's one-shot AIO path can return an error before all submitted IOCBs are drained, allowing later kernel writes into caller-owned output buffers. | ||||
| CVE-2026-95619 | 1 Redhat | 5 Enterprise Linux, Hardened Images, Hummingbird and 2 more | 2026-10-30 | 7.7 High |
| A flaw was found in libstdc++. An integer overflow can occur when processing large inputs to the aligned operator new in the C++ library. This vulnerability could lead to an undersized memory allocation, potentially causing memory corruption or application instability. | ||||
| CVE-2026-12080 | 2 Qemu, Redhat | 4 Qemu, Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Nvidia and 1 more | 2026-10-30 | 7.3 High |
| A flaw was found in the QEMU Guest Agent (qga). A local unprivileged user can exploit a vulnerability in the guest-ssh-add-authorized-keys command handler by manipulating symbolic links. This can occur either through a deterministic directory-symlink bypass or a Time-of-Check to Time-of-Use (TOCTOU) file-symlink race. Successful exploitation allows the attacker to gain ownership of arbitrary root-owned files or directories, leading to root access. This vulnerability requires an external management layer (e.g., libvirt) to trigger the affected code path. | ||||
| CVE-2026-94640 | 1 Redhat | 3 Enterprise Linux, Openshift, Openshift Container Platform | 2026-10-30 | 7.5 High |
| A flaw was found in rpcbind. This vulnerability allows a remote, unauthenticated attacker to cause a Denial of Service (DoS) by sending a large number of unique requests. The rpcbind service records previously unseen RPC (Remote Procedure Call) statistics in unbounded in-memory lists, leading to persistent memory growth and increased CPU usage. This can degrade or exhaust service availability. | ||||
| CVE-2026-109411 | 2 Redhat, Samba | 3 Enterprise Linux, Openshift, Samba | 2026-10-30 | 8.1 High |
| An access control bypass flaw was identified in Samba's vfs_ceph_rgw module in it's openat() function. An authenticated user can bypass access controls to read or overwrite restricted files on shares configured with the experimental vfs_ceph_rgw module. When a client requests an existing file using mismatched character casing, the module fails to perform a case-insensitive lookup correctly, causing the server to treat the operation as creating a new file. As a result, the server skips standard permission checks on the existing file, allowing the attacker to access or overwrite sensitive data owned by other users. | ||||
| CVE-2026-92574 | 2 Red Hat, Redhat | 5 Enterprise Linux, Confidential Compute Attestation, Enterprise Linux and 2 more | 2026-10-30 | 8.8 High |
| A vulnerability in CRI-O checkpoint restore allows a user who can create a pod from a malicious checkpointed container to bypass the destination Kubernetes security context. The restored process may retain credentials, Linux capabilities, no_new_privs, and seccomp state from the checkpoint instead of enforcing the destination configuration. This can allow execution with elevated privileges across the container security boundary. Affected upstream supported versions are CRI-O 1.34 and later. Downstream Red Hat products are affected from OCP 4.17 onward. Fixes have been applied to supported branches but are not yet released. Exploitation requires permission to create a pod from a malicious checkpoint image and checkpoint restore functionality to be available. | ||||
