CVE-2022-2929 4 Debian, Fedoraproject, Isc and 1 more 4 Debian Linux, Fedora, Dhcp and 1 more 2024-11-21 6.5 Medium
In ISC DHCP 1.0 -> 4.4.3, ISC DHCP 4.1-ESV-R1 -> 4.1-ESV-R16-P1 a system with access to a DHCP server, sending DHCP packets crafted to include fqdn labels longer than 63 bytes, could eventually cause the server to run out of memory.
CVE-2022-2928 4 Debian, Fedoraproject, Isc and 1 more 4 Debian Linux, Fedora, Dhcp and 1 more 2024-11-21 6.5 Medium
In ISC DHCP 4.4.0 -> 4.4.3, ISC DHCP 4.1-ESV-R1 -> 4.1-ESV-R16-P1, when the function option_code_hash_lookup() is called from add_option(), it increases the option's refcount field. However, there is not a corresponding call to option_dereference() to decrement the refcount field. The function add_option() is only used in server responses to lease query packets. Each lease query response calls this function for several options, so eventually, the reference counters could overflow and cause the server to abort.
CVE-2022-2873 5 Debian, Fedoraproject, Linux and 2 more 16 Debian Linux, Fedora, Linux Kernel and 13 more 2024-11-21 5.5 Medium
An out-of-bounds memory access flaw was found in the Linux kernel Intel’s iSMT SMBus host controller driver in the way a user triggers the I2C_SMBUS_BLOCK_DATA (with the ioctl I2C_SMBUS) with malicious input data. This flaw allows a local user to crash the system.
CVE-2022-2869 4 Debian, Fedoraproject, Libtiff and 1 more 4 Debian Linux, Fedora, Libtiff and 1 more 2024-11-21 5.5 Medium
libtiff's tiffcrop tool has a uint32_t underflow which leads to out of bounds read and write in the extractContigSamples8bits routine. An attacker who supplies a crafted file to tiffcrop could trigger this flaw, most likely by tricking a user into opening the crafted file with tiffcrop. Triggering this flaw could cause a crash or potentially further exploitation.
CVE-2022-2868 4 Debian, Fedoraproject, Libtiff and 1 more 4 Debian Linux, Fedora, Libtiff and 1 more 2024-11-21 5.5 Medium
libtiff's tiffcrop utility has a improper input validation flaw that can lead to out of bounds read and ultimately cause a crash if an attacker is able to supply a crafted file to tiffcrop.
CVE-2022-2867 4 Debian, Fedoraproject, Libtiff and 1 more 4 Debian Linux, Fedora, Libtiff and 1 more 2024-11-21 5.5 Medium
libtiff's tiffcrop utility has a uint32_t underflow that can lead to out of bounds read and write. An attacker who supplies a crafted file to tiffcrop (likely via tricking a user to run tiffcrop on it with certain parameters) could cause a crash or in some cases, further exploitation.
CVE-2022-2553 4 Clusterlabs, Debian, Fedoraproject and 1 more 5 Booth, Debian Linux, Fedora and 2 more 2024-11-21 6.5 Medium
The authfile directive in the booth config file is ignored, preventing use of authentication in communications from node to node. As a result, nodes that do not have the correct authentication key are not prevented from communicating with other nodes in the cluster.

CVE-2022-29526 5 Fedoraproject, Golang, Linux and 2 more 15 Fedora, Go, Linux Kernel and 12 more 2024-11-21 5.3 Medium
Go before 1.17.10 and 1.18.x before 1.18.2 has Incorrect Privilege Assignment. When called with a non-zero flags parameter, the Faccessat function could incorrectly report that a file is accessible.
CVE-2022-29404 4 Apache, Fedoraproject, Netapp and 1 more 5 Http Server, Fedora, Clustered Data Ontap and 2 more 2024-11-21 7.5 High
In Apache HTTP Server 2.4.53 and earlier, a malicious request to a lua script that calls r:parsebody(0) may cause a denial of service due to no default limit on possible input size.
CVE-2022-29187 5 Apple, Debian, Fedoraproject and 2 more 6 Xcode, Debian Linux, Fedora and 3 more 2024-11-21 7.8 High
Git is a distributed revision control system. Git prior to versions 2.37.1, 2.36.2, 2.35.4, 2.34.4, 2.33.4, 2.32.3, 2.31.4, and 2.30.5, is vulnerable to privilege escalation in all platforms. An unsuspecting user could still be affected by the issue reported in CVE-2022-24765, for example when navigating as root into a shared tmp directory that is owned by them, but where an attacker could create a git repository. Versions 2.37.1, 2.36.2, 2.35.4, 2.34.4, 2.33.4, 2.32.3, 2.31.4, and 2.30.5 contain a patch for this issue. The simplest way to avoid being affected by the exploit described in the example is to avoid running git as root (or an Administrator in Windows), and if needed to reduce its use to a minimum. While a generic workaround is not possible, a system could be hardened from the exploit described in the example by removing any such repository if it exists already and creating one as root to block any future attacks.
CVE-2022-29154 3 Fedoraproject, Redhat, Samba 6 Fedora, Enterprise Linux, Rhel E4s and 3 more 2024-11-21 7.4 High
An issue was discovered in rsync before 3.2.5 that allows malicious remote servers to write arbitrary files inside the directories of connecting peers. The server chooses which files/directories are sent to the client. However, the rsync client performs insufficient validation of file names. A malicious rsync server (or Man-in-The-Middle attacker) can overwrite arbitrary files in the rsync client target directory and subdirectories (for example, overwrite the .ssh/authorized_keys file).
CVE-2022-28805 3 Fedoraproject, Lua, Redhat 3 Fedora, Lua, Enterprise Linux 2024-11-21 9.1 Critical

CVE-2022-28614 4 Apache, Fedoraproject, Netapp and 1 more 6 Http Server, Fedora, Clustered Data Ontap and 3 more 2024-11-21 5.3 Medium
The ap_rwrite() function in Apache HTTP Server 2.4.53 and earlier may read unintended memory if an attacker can cause the server to reflect very large input using ap_rwrite() or ap_rputs(), such as with mod_luas r:puts() function. Modules compiled and distributed separately from Apache HTTP Server that use the 'ap_rputs' function and may pass it a very large (INT_MAX or larger) string must be compiled against current headers to resolve the issue.
