CVSS v3.1 |
Migration Workbench (DX Workbench) in SAP NetWeaver Application Server for ABAP fails to trigger a malware scan when an attacker with administrative privileges uploads files to the application server. An attacker could leverage this and upload a malicious file into the system. This results in a low impact on the integrity of the application.
Some versions of Hikvision's iSecure Center Product have an improper file upload control vulnerability. Due to the improper verification of file to be uploaded, attackers may upload malicious files to the server. iSecure Center is software released for China's domestic market only, with no overseas release.
Uploadify WordPress plugin versions up to and including 1.0 contain an arbitrary file upload vulnerability in process_upload.php due to missing file type validation. An unauthenticated remote attacker can upload arbitrary files to the affected WordPress site, which may allow remote code execution by uploading executable content to a web-accessible location.
There is an unrestricted file upload vulnerability where it is possible for an authenticated user (low privileged) to upload an jsp shell and execute code with the privileges of user running the web server.
Unrestricted upload vulnerability for dangerous file types on Summar Software´s Portal del Empleado. This vulnerability allows an attacker to upload a dangerous file type by sending a POST request using the parameter “cctl00$ContentPlaceHolder1$fuAdjunto” in “/MemberPages/ntf_absentismo.aspx”.
A vulnerability classified as critical has been found in youyiio BeyongCms 1.6.0. Affected is an unknown function of the file /admin/theme/Upload.html of the component Document Management Page. The manipulation of the argument File leads to unrestricted upload. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used.
Paymenter is a free and open-source webshop solution for hostings. Prior to version 1.2.11, the ticket attachments functionality in Paymenter allows a malicious authenticated user to upload arbitrary files. This could result in sensitive data extraction from the database, credentials being read from configuration files, and arbitrary system commands being run under the web server user context. This vulnerability was patched by commit 87c3db4 and was released under the version 1.2.11 tag without any other code modifications compared to version 1.2.10. If upgrading is not immediately possible, administrators can mitigate this vulnerability with one or more of the following measures: updating nginx config to download attachments instead of executing them or disallowing access to /storage/ fully using a WAF such as Cloudflare.
A vulnerability was detected in eCharge Hardy Barth Salia PLCC up to 2.3.81. Affected by this issue is some unknown functionality of the file /firmware.php of the component Web UI. Performing a manipulation of the argument media results in unrestricted upload. The attack can be initiated remotely. The exploit is now public and may be used. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way.
LangBot is a global IM bot platform designed for LLMs. In versions 4.1.0 up to but not including 4.3.5, authorized attackers can exploit the /api/v1/files/documents interface to perform arbitrary file uploads. Since this interface does not strictly restrict the storage directory of files on the server, it is possible to upload dangerous files to specific system directories. This is fixed in version 4.3.5.
A vulnerability exists in the stb-language file handling that affects the RTU500 series product versions listed below. A malicious actor could print random memory content in the RTU500 system log, if an authorized user uploads a specially crafted stb-language file.
A vulnerability exists in the stb-language file handling that affects the RTU500 series product versions listed below. A malicious actor could enforce diagnostic texts being displayed as empty strings, if an authorized user uploads a specially crafted stb-language file.
| A client-side remote code execution vulnerability exists in Hanwha Techwin Smart Security Manager (SSM) versions 1.32 and 1.4, due to improper restrictions on the PUT method exposed by the bundled Apache ActiveMQ instance (running on port 8161). An attacker can exploit this flaw through a Cross-Origin Resource Sharing (CORS) bypass combined with JavaScript-triggered file uploads to the web server, ultimately resulting in arbitrary code execution with SYSTEM privileges.
This vulnerability bypasses the server-side mitigations introduced in ZDI-15-156 and ZDI-16-481 by shifting the exploitation to the client-side.
This product is now referred to as Hanwha Wisenet SSM and it is unknown if current versions are affected. |
A remote code execution vulnerability exists within osCommerce Online Merchant version 2.3.4.1 due to insecure default configuration and missing authentication in the installer workflow. By default, the /install/ directory remains accessible after installation. An unauthenticated attacker can invoke install_4.php, submit crafted POST data, and inject arbitrary PHP code into the configure.php file. When the application later includes this file, the injected payload is executed, resulting in full server-side compromise.
An unrestricted file upload vulnerability exists in BuilderEngine 3.5.0 via the integration of the elFinder 2.0 file manager and its use of the jQuery File Upload plugin. The plugin fails to properly validate or restrict file types or locations during upload operations, allowing an attacker to upload a malicious .php file and subsequently execute arbitrary PHP code on the server under the context of the web server process. While the root vulnerability lies within the jQuery File Upload component, BuilderEngine’s improper integration and lack of access controls expose this functionality to unauthenticated users, resulting in full remote code execution.
An unrestricted file upload vulnerability exists in ProcessMaker versions prior to 3.5.4 due to improper handling of uploaded plugin archives. An attacker with administrative privileges can upload a malicious .tar plugin file containing arbitrary PHP code. Upon installation, the plugin’s install() method is invoked, resulting in execution of attacker-supplied PHP code on the server with the privileges of the web server user. This vulnerability can be chained with CVE-2022-38577 — a privilege escalation flaw in the user profile page — to achieve full remote code execution from a low-privileged account.
An Unrestricted Upload of File vulnerability has been found on Cegid Meta4 HR, that allows an attacker to upload malicios files to the server via '/config/espanol/update_password.jsp' file. Modifying the 'M4_NEW_PASSWORD' parameter, an attacker could store a malicious JSP file inside the file directory, to be executed the the file is loaded in the application.
Chamilo LMS 1.11.8 contains an arbitrary file upload vulnerability that allows authenticated users to upload and execute PHP files through the elfinder filemanager module. Attackers can upload files with image headers in the social myfiles section, rename them to PHP extensions, and execute arbitrary code by accessing the uploaded files.
File Upload vulnerability in Byzro Network Smart s42 Management Platform v.S42 allows a local attacker to execute arbitrary code via the useratte/userattestation.php component.
FreePBX Endpoint Manager is a module for managing telephony endpoints in FreePBX systems. In versions prior to 16.0.92 for FreePBX 16 and versions prior to 17.0.6 for FreePBX 17, the Endpoint Manager module contains an authenticated arbitrary file upload vulnerability affecting the fwbrand parameter. The fwbrand parameter allows an attacker to change the file path. Combined, these issues can result in a webshell being uploaded. Authentication with a known username is required to exploit this vulnerability. Successful exploitation allows authenticated users to upload arbitrary files to attacker-controlled paths on the server, potentially leading to remote code execution. This issue has been patched in version 16.0.92 for FreePBX 16 and version 17.0.6 for FreePBX 17.
KUNO CMS is a fully deployable full-stack blog application. Versions 1.3.13 and below contain validation flaws in its file upload functionality that can be exploited for stored XSS. The upload endpoint only validates file types based on Content-Type headers, lacks file content analysis and extension whitelist restrictions, allowing attackers to upload SVG files containing malicious scripts (disguised as images). When users access the uploaded resource pages, arbitrary JavaScript executes in their browsers. This issue is fixed in version 1.3.14.
