The GUIX software JPEG decoder reads four kinds of marker segment without checking that each is long enough to hold what it reads. A truncated segment is therefore read past the end of the caller's image buffer. Separately, a zero chroma sampling factor makes the block decode loop non-terminating. Both reproduce in the default configuration, in which `GX_SOFTWARE_DECODER_SUPPORT` is enabled.
`_gx_multi_line_text_view_display_info_get()` reads one byte past the end of the application's text buffer when the string it is given ends with a carriage return (`\r`). The over-read can also cause callers to advance their index past the end of the string, producing a second over-read in `_gx_multi_line_text_view_string_total_rows_compute()` and a row of text that is not in the source.

IBM Sterling Connect Direct for Unix 6.4.0.0 through 6.4.0.6 and 6.3.0.0 through 6.3.0.7 apnotify utility is vulnerable to a code injection due to insufficient validation of user input.
FreeRDP before 3.32.1 contains a heap-based buffer overflow in the server-side rdpsnd channel because an integer wraparound in rdpsnd_server_select_format() DVI_ADPCM block-alignment arithmetic bypasses validation. A malicious RDP client can send two SNDC_FORMATS PDUs with an nBlockAlign too small for nChannels, causing an unbounded heap write during server audio playback, potentially enabling code execution.
A stack-based buffer overflow flaw was found in fetchmail when built with NTLM support. A malicious or compromised mail server advertising NTLM authentication can send a crafted Type 2 challenge that causes fetchmail to write past a fixed stack buffer while building the NTLM authenticate response. This may lead to remote code execution depending on stack-frame layout, or to authentication failure or process termination under memory hardening.
An out-of-bounds read was found in the NC-SI OEM response handler of libslirp. A truncated NC-SI OEM Ethernet frame causes ncsi_rsp_handler_oem() to read up to 4 bytes beyond the supplied packet length and reflect the value into the response sent to the guest, resulting in guest-observable disclosure of adjacent host process memory.
Memory safety bugs present in Thunderbird 150.0.1. Some of these bugs showed evidence of memory corruption and we presume that with enough effort some of these could have been exploited to run arbitrary code. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox 150.0.2 and Thunderbird 150.0.2.

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
wifi: ath11k: update channel list in reg notifier instead reg worker
Currently when ath11k gets a new channel list, it will be processed
according to the following steps:
1. update new channel list to cfg80211 and queue reg_work.
2. cfg80211 handles new channel list during reg_work.
3. update cfg80211's handled channel list to firmware by
ath11k_reg_update_chan_list().
But ath11k will immediately execute step 3 after reg_work is just
queued. Since step 2 is asynchronous, cfg80211 may not have completed
handling the new channel list, which may leading to an out-of-bounds
write error:
BUG: KASAN: slab-out-of-bounds in ath11k_reg_update_chan_list
Call Trace:
ath11k_reg_update_chan_list+0xbfe/0xfe0 [ath11k]

ath11k_regd_update_work+0x14/0x20 [ath11k]
process_one_work+0xe35/0x14c0
Should ensure step 2 is completely done before executing step 3. Thus
Wen raised patch[1]. When flag NL80211_REGDOM_SET_BY_DRIVER is set,
cfg80211 will notify ath11k after step 2 is done.
So enable the flag NL80211_REGDOM_SET_BY_DRIVER then cfg80211 will
notify ath11k after step 2 is done. At this time, there will be no
KASAN bug during the execution of the step 3.
