CVSS v3.1 |
| Apache CXF’s OIDC relying-party component could redirect users to an attacker-controlled URL after successful authentication. The issue occurs because attacker-controlled state parameters are preserved and later used as redirect targets without validating that the final decoded URI belongs to the RP’s origin. Both directly encoded and double-encoded external URLs can trigger the issue, depending on which validation path is used. Users are recommended to upgrade to versions 4.2.4 or 4.1.9 or 3.6.13, which fix this issue. |
| Gogs is an open source self-hosted Git service. Prior to 0.15.0+dev, an unauthenticated attacker can provide a backslash-containing target to the /redirect endpoint, and similar post-action redirect flows are also affected. internal/urlx/urlx.go IsSameSite validates a normalized form of the target while cmd/gogs/internal/web/web.go getRedirect and other callers use the original value in the Location response. This backslash normalization mismatch lets browsers interpret the Location value as a scheme-relative external URL, allowing links on a trusted Gogs domain to redirect victims to attacker-controlled content for phishing. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.15.0+dev. |
| OpenMetadata accepts a caller-supplied post-authentication redirect target and appends the issued token to it. SamlLoginServlet reads the callback request parameter and stores it in the HTTP session without comparing it against any configured or registered destination, and the assertion consumer servlet later formats that stored value into a URL carrying the freshly issued JWT together with the account's email and name before sending the redirect. The OIDC and OAuth2 handler follows the same pattern with its own redirect parameter and the issued identity token. A request naming a destination the attacker controls therefore causes the server to deliver a valid token for whoever completes the login to that destination. Because the token authenticates API calls as that account, a user who follows such a link and authenticates hands over control of their account. Version 2.0.0 removes the caller-supplied callback parameter; no 1.x release validates it. |
| A vulnerability was detected in antoinersx clawhost up to 0.0.45. This affects the function handleRequest of the file apps/clawhostgo/src/main/services/reverseProxy.ts of the component Reverse Proxy. Performing a manipulation of the argument token results in open redirect. The attack can be initiated remotely. The exploit is now public and may be used. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way. |
| A vulnerability was determined in diem-project diem up to 116974edfb9a5b8bd69cb13586dc62bcdbb485ad. This affects an unknown part of the file dmCorePlugin/plugins/dmUserPlugin/modules/dmUser/lib/BasedmUserActions.class.php of the component Sign-In. This manipulation of the argument Referer causes open redirect. The attack is possible to be carried out remotely. The exploit has been publicly disclosed and may be utilized. This product adopts a rolling release strategy to maintain continuous delivery. Therefore, version details for affected or updated releases cannot be specified. The project was informed of the problem early through an issue report but has not responded yet. |
| In the Eclipse Adoptium website (adoptium.net), in every deployment built from commit 0b24ea1 (2025-06-18) up to the fix in commit cbb53cf (2026-09-24), the post-download page /[locale]/download takes a download URL from the "link" query parameter and automatically navigates to it with a meta http-equiv="refresh". The URL is checked against a list of trusted prefixes using String.startsWith() on the raw string, while the browser applies RFC 3986 dot-segment normalisation before navigating, so a value such as https://github.com/adoptium/temurin/../../attacker/malware/releases/download/v1/jdk.exe passes the check but resolves to an attacker-controlled repository. A victim who follows a crafted adoptium.net link is shown the genuine "Thank you for downloading Eclipse Temurin" page while their browser downloads a binary of the attacker's choosing |
| A weakness has been identified in aircheng-org iWebShop-5 up to 5.16. The impacted element is the function IController::redirect of the file plugins/_userInfo/_userInfo.php of the component Login Redirect. This manipulation of the argument callback causes open redirect. The attack can be initiated remotely. The exploit has been made available to the public and could be used for attacks. The project was informed of the problem early through an issue report but has not responded yet. |
| Coder from 2.0.0 before 2.34.8 contains an open redirect vulnerability in handleAPIKeySmuggling that allows attackers to redirect users externally via unsanitized r.URL.Path values. Attackers can craft links on trusted workspace app subdomains with paths beginning with double slashes, which become scheme-relative redirects to attacker sites for phishing. |
| Coder 2.3.1 before 2.14.4, 2.15.x before 2.15.3, and 2.16.0 before 2.16.1 contains an open redirect vulnerability in the login page because the redirect query parameter is improperly sanitized. Attackers can craft a Coder login URL that, when clicked by a logged-in user, redirects the victim to an attacker-controlled website for phishing. |
| The auth0/nextjs-auth0 SDK validates that the returnTo parameter is a same-origin URL. The SDK then stores this value and, in a later step, reconstructs it for the post-authentication redirect. The reconstruction logic can produce a URL that browsers interpret as an absolute or scheme-relative path, leading to a redirect to an unintended domain. |
| smart-sso through 2.1.1 contains an open redirect vulnerability in the /login handler that allows unauthenticated attackers to steal OAuth2 authorization codes by supplying an unvalidated redirectUri parameter. Attackers can send crafted /login links to users with active SSO sessions, then redeem stolen codes at /oauth2/access_token with any valid client credentials to obtain victims' access tokens. |
| OpenRun is an open-source, self-hosted GitOps platform for deploying web apps and internal tools to Docker or Kubernetes. Prior to version 0.17.7, the restrictions on redirect URLs in openrun can be bypassed by attackers, leading to open redirect attacks. This issue has been patched in version 0.17.7. |
| OAuth1 callback validation vulnerability in Apache Allura.
This issue affects Apache Allura: through 1.21.0.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 1.22.0, which fixes the issue. |
| A vulnerability was determined in PublicCMS up to 5.202608.a. Affected by this issue is the function SafeConfigComponent.getSafeUrl of the file publiccms-core/src/main/java/com/publiccms/logic/component/config/SafeConfigComponent.java of the component pay Endpoint. Executing a manipulation of the argument returnUrl can lead to open redirect. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploit has been publicly disclosed and may be utilized. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way. |
| Thelia v2.6.0 contains an open redirect vulnerability in its address creation workflow. After a user accesses a crafted URL and successfully submits the “Add New Address” form, the application redirects them to the URL specified in the `next` parameter. Because the application does not validate whether the destination belongs to the same origin or an approved allowlist, an attacker can supply an arbitrary external URL and redirect users to an attacker-controlled website. |
| Improper validation of the reset_url parameter of the Setup in-page search in Checkmk <2.5.0p15, <2.4.0p38, <2.3.0p51 and 2.2.0 (EOL) allows an attacker to execute arbitrary script in the session of an authenticated user with Setup access, or to redirect that user to an arbitrary external site, by tricking the user into opening a crafted URL and clicking the Reset button or submitting an empty search. |
| Backstage is an open framework for building developer portals. Prior to 0.29.2, the experimental dynamic client registration and client ID metadata document features in the @backstage/plugin-auth-backend use full-string matcher.isMatch glob matching for auth.experimentalDynamicClientRegistration.allowedRedirectUriPatterns and the auth.experimentalClientIdMetadataDocuments allowedClientIdPatterns and allowedRedirectUriPatterns options. A hostname wildcard can match across URL component boundaries, allowing an attacker-controlled redirect URI with a trusted hostname suffix in its path to pass the allowlist and receive an OAuth authorization code after a victim completes the flow. Patterns without an explicit protocol can match unintended protocols, and redirect URIs containing embedded credentials are accepted after user information is stripped for matching. The features are experimental and disabled by default; only deployments that enable them and configure custom wildcard-hostname or protocol-less patterns are affected. This issue is first fixed in prerelease version 0.29.2. |
| When the default servlet in Apache Tomcat versions 9.0.0.M1 to 9.0.11, 8.5.0 to 8.5.33 and 7.0.23 to 7.0.90 returned a redirect to a directory (e.g. redirecting to '/foo/' when the user requested '/foo') a specially crafted URL could be used to cause the redirect to be generated to any URI of the attackers choice. |
| Sensitive Data Exposure vulnerability in Erlang OTP inets (httpc_response module) allows Retrieve Embedded Sensitive Data.
The httpc client forwards the Authorization and Proxy-Authorization request headers to redirect targets without checking whether the redirect crosses an origin boundary. httpc_response:redirect/2 constructs the redirected request by updating only the host field of the header record; all other fields (including authorization and proxy_authorization) are copied verbatim. The redirect target host is never compared against the original host.
autoredirect defaults to true, so this affects all httpc callers that do not explicitly disable automatic redirects.
An attacker who controls a server that the victim contacts via httpc can issue a cross-origin 3xx redirect to a server they also control. The Authorization header (including Basic credentials derived from URL userinfo via httpc_request:handle_user_info/2) is forwarded to the redirect target, allowing credential theft. The same applies to the Proxy-Authorization header.
This vulnerability is associated with program files lib/inets/src/http_client/httpc_response.erl.
This issue affects OTP from OTP 17.0 before OTP 27.3.4.19, OTP 28.5.0.8, and OTP 29.1.2, corresponding to inets from 5.10 before 9.3.2.8, 9.6.2.4, and 9.8.1. Whether OTP before OTP 17.0, corresponding to inets before 5.10, is affected is unknown. |
| Payload is a free and open source headless content management system. In versions from 3.40.0 before 3.88.0 and canary versions before 4.0.0-canary.27, an attacker can craft a redirect URL parameter that sends a guest user to an untrusted destination after the authentication flow completes. This issue is fixed in versions 3.88.0 and 4.0.0-canary.27. |
