CVSS v3.1 |
OS command injection vulnerability in the traceroute diagnostic handler in /bin/httpd_clientside in ALTICE LABS / SFR France GR140DG Fibre Router with firmware 3GN8020801R13, 3GN8020802R0A, or 3GN8020803R0A inserts unsanitized user input into a system() call, allowing authenticated remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands as root via crafted destAddr parameters using shell command substitution.
A heap use-after-free existed when importing the blank-width characters of an ODF number format. A position value read from the document was not checked against the length of the format-code string, so a malformed number format could be processed against memory outside that string. In fixed versions the position is bounds-checked before use.
LibreOffice Calc compiles cell formulas when opening a spreadsheet. A heap buffer overflow existed when compiling a very long formula made up of many opening tokens. The array that tracks nesting depth was allocated one element too small for that worst case, so such a formula wrote one element past its end. In fixed versions the array is sized to hold the largest possible nesting.
Incorrect boundary conditions in the Libraries component in NSS. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox 152 and Thunderbird 152.
| The device has a webserver that exposes a REST API authenticated with a token on the management network. By exploiting an OS command injection vulnerability an authenticated attacker can send
arbitrary commands to the device that are executed with administrative permissions by the underlying operating system. |
In __mfc_core_nal_q_get_dec_metadata_sei_nal of mfc_core_nal_q.c, there is a possible out of bounds write due to a missing bounds check. This could lead to remote code execution with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation.
Improper neutralization of special elements used in an os command ('os command injection') in Microsoft Office SharePoint allows an authorized attacker to execute code over a network.
In RtpSession::rtpSendRtcpPacket, there is a possible OOB write due to a heap buffer overflow. This could lead to remote code execution with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation.
In IntfGraphCreate of intfgraph.c, there is a possible out of bounds write due to an integer overflow. This could lead to remote code execution with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation.
In lwis_io_buffer_write of lwis_io_buffer.c, there is a possible out of bounds write due to memory corruption. This could lead to local escalation of privilege with System execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation.
In mfc_core_get_dec_metadata_sei_nal of mfc_core_reg_api.c, there is a possible out of bounds write due to a missing bounds check. This could lead to remote code execution with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation.
In ExecuteGraph command handler of EdgeTPU firmware, there is a possible out of bounds write due to an integer overflow. This could lead to local escalation of privilege with root privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation.
In Write of msg_to_host_buffer.cc, there is a possible out of bounds write due to an incorrect bounds check. This could lead to local escalation of privilege with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation.
In numberOfReportBlocks of RtpSession.cpp, there is a possible out of bounds write due to an integer overflow. This could lead to remote escalation of privilege with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation.
In Modem, there is a possible out of bounds write due to a missing bounds check. This could lead to remote code execution with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation.
An OS command injection vulnerability in the /stream-to-vlc Express route in hitarth-gg Zenshin before 2.7.0 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands via the url parameter.
FastNetMon Community Edition through 1.2.9 contains an OS command injection vulnerability in the MikroTik router integration plugin. The _log() function in src/mikrotik_plugin/fastnetmon_mikrotik.php (lines 107-108) constructs shell commands by concatenating the $msg parameter directly into exec() calls: exec("echo `date` \"- {FASTNETMON] - " . $msg . " \" >> " . $FILE_LOG_TMP). This is identical in pattern to the Juniper plugin vulnerability. The $msg variable contains unsanitized attack data from command-line arguments. An attacker who can influence argv[] values can inject arbitrary shell commands. The fix is to replace exec() with file_put_contents() or use escapeshellarg().
In Sofia on Xiongmai DVR/NVR (AHB7008T-MH-V2 and NBD7024H-P) 4.03.R11 devices, root OS command injection can occur via shell metacharacters in the HostName value via an authenticated DVRIP protocol (TCP port 34567) request to the NetWork.NetCommon configuration handler, because system() is used.
OS command injection vulnerability exists in ELECOM wireless LAN products. A crafted request from a logged-in user may lead to an arbitrary OS command execution.
Nozomi Networks Labs identified a CWE-78: Improper Neutralization of Special Elements used in an OS Command ('OS Command Injection') in the Console WebUI in Waterfall WF-500 TX and RX Hosts in version 7.9.1.0 R2502171040 that allows remote unauthenticated attackers to execute arbitrary operating system commands on the device.
