| The GoSMTP WordPress plugin before 1.2.5 does not perform a settings-management authorization check on its SMTP configuration page, which is gated only on the GoSMTP WordPress plugin before 1.2.5-activation capability, allowing users with a delegated role below administrator to change outbound mail delivery and achieve administrator account takeover. |
| Vulnerability in the Oracle Solaris product of Oracle Systems (component: Utility). Supported versions that are affected are 11.3 and 11.4. Easily exploitable vulnerability allows unauthenticated attacker with logon to the infrastructure where Oracle Solaris executes to compromise Oracle Solaris. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in takeover of Oracle Solaris. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 8.4 (Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability impacts). | Grav Login plugin from 3.6.0 before 3.9.13 contains a missing authorization vulnerability in the login.invite task that allows page authors to obtain super user accounts. Attackers can define an invitation form granting super access in page frontmatter, submit it unauthenticated, and register the invited address for full site control. |
| Vulnerability in the Oracle Identity Manager Connector product of Oracle Fusion Middleware (component: Connectors and Connector Server). Supported versions that are affected are 12.2.1.4.0 and 14.1.2.1.0. Easily exploitable vulnerability allows high privileged attacker with network access via SOAP to compromise Oracle Identity Manager Connector. | Cronicle is a multi-server task scheduler and runner, with a web based front-end UI. Prior to 0.9.121, a non-administrator user or scoped API key with `create_events` and `run_events` privileges can inject top-level `uid` and `gid` fields through `/api/app/create_event` or `/api/app/update_event`. In `lib/api.js`, `requireValidEventData` uses `validateOptionalParams` as a partial allow-list that silently passes unknown keys, storing the injected fields verbatim. In `lib/job.js`, `launchJob` copies the whole event into the job, and a plugin `uid` overrides the event `uid` only when the plugin defines one. The default `shellplug` and `urlplug` plugins do not define a `uid`, so the event-controlled identity survives into child-process launch. On a root-daemon installation, this lets a low-privileged user run jobs as arbitrary users, including root, bypassing the otherwise administrator-only run-as-user control. This API-side event injection is distinct from the job-output `uid`/`gid` injection addressed by CVE-2026-39401. This issue is fixed in version 0.9.121. |
| The Mage Eventpress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to privilege escalation in versions up to, and including, 5.7.8 This is due to the mep_grant_shop_manager_access() function hooking user_has_cap and unconditionally granting manage_options whenever an attacker-controllable request marker matches — most notably $_GET['page'] starting with 'mep_' or 'mpwem_', which is never validated against an actually registered EventPress screen. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Shop Manager-level access and above, to elevate their privileges to Administrator by appending ?page=mep_x to core admin URLs (options-general. |
| Dell PowerProtect Data Domain, Feature Release versions 7.7.1.0 through 8.8, LTS2024 release versions 7.13.1.0 through 7.13.1.80, LTS2025 release versions 8.3.1.0 through 8.3.1.40, LTS2026 release versions 8.6.1.0 through 8.6.1.20, contain an Improper Privilege Management vulnerability. A high privileged attacker with remote access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to Elevation of privileges. |
| Trigger.dev before 4.6.0 contains an improper authorization vulnerability in the GET /api/v1/projects/:projectRef/envvars endpoint, which returns the environment's root API key as TRIGGER_SECRET_KEY for staging, production, and preview environments. Attackers holding a restricted read:envvars key can obtain the root secret and plaintext secrets, then trigger tasks and mint admin public JWTs. |

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
namespace: a mount that copy_tree() leaves out can't take over a lock
Since commit c62a4766937e ("move_mount: transfer MNT_LOCKED") a mount
can be moved beneath a locked mount. The lock moves from the old cover
to the new mount which takes over the job of hiding what's under it and
the old cover can be unmounted. That works as long as the new mount
stays. But the caller picks the new mount and copy_tree() leaves a
mount of a mount namespace file out of every copy made without
CL_COPY_MNT_NS_FILE, together with everything mounted on it, and never
looks at MNT_LOCKED. unshare(CLONE_NEWNS) and mount propagation make
such copies.
So a task that is root in its own user namespace gets rid of a locked
cover on a file without a race and without touching the filesystem
below it. It makes a child with a mount namespace of its own, binds the
child's /proc/<pid>/ns/mnt beneath the cover with MOVE_MOUNT_BENEATH,
which hands the lock to that bind, and calls unshare(CLONE_NEWNS). The
new mount namespace has nothing on the file. That's the usual way to
mask a single file, a bind of /dev/null or of an empty file. With a
bind of an ordinary file the file stays covered.
copy_tree() already refuses to leave out a locked unbindable mount with
-EPERM since commit df7342b24018 ("mount: Don't allow copying
MNT_UNBINDABLE|MNT_LOCKED mounts"). Do the same for a locked mount of a
mount namespace file. That also covers a tree copied with
CL_COPY_MNT_NS_FILE and attached into a mount namespace of another user
namespace where lock_mnt_tree() locks it. Note that unshare(CLONE_NEWNS)
and clone(CLONE_NEWNS) fail with EPERM from such a mount namespace from
then on. The mount can't be left out and it can't be unmounted.
And refuse to move a mount of a mount namespace file beneath a locked
mount in the first place. Otherwise the task ends up with a mount it
can't unmount and an unshare() that fails for good.
Chris also found a second mount that goes away by itself, a clone of an
automounted mount that shrink_submounts() took along with its parent.
Commit f78ddcc87224 ("namespace: never expire a locked mount") took
care of that one.
Chris's reproducer is appended. Mode nsfile reads SECRET after the
unshare() on 7.3-rc7, with this patch the move_mount() fails with
EINVAL and the file stays covered. nsfile-control uses an ordinary file
and reads MASK both ways.

/*
* Get rid of a locked cover with MOVE_MOUNT_BENEATH.
*
* The "admin" (root) makes a tmpfs W:
* W/D file, holds SECRET, covered by a bind of a file with MASK
* W/Dd/inner file, holds SECRET, Dd is covered by a bind of a directory
* whose "inner" holds MASK
* W/own directory of uid 1000 with the file "mine" and the
* directory "minedir", whose "inner" holds MINE
* W/dbg debugfs, mode 755. dbg/tracing is an automount point
* The "attacker" is uid 1000. It enters a new user namespace with a new mount
* namespace, so W and both covers are locked there.
*
* usage: prog MODE
* plain put a bind of own/mine beneath the cover of D, unmount the cover
* nsfile put a bind of the mount namespace file of a child beneath the
* cover of D, then unshare(CLONE_NEWNS)
* nsfile-control the same with a bind of own/mine
* shrink put a bind of the automounted tracefs beneath the cover of Dd,
* unmount the cover, put a tmpfs beneath W, call umount(W), which fails
* shrink-control the same with a bind of own/minedir
* The environment variable AUTOMOUNT_DIR names another automount point for "shrink".
