| ethernet_fill_header() in subsys/net/l2/ethernet/ethernet.c can prepend the Ethernet header in place, by pushing it into the headroom of the packet's first fragment, instead of allocating a separate header fragment. Before this fix the in-place path was selected purely from the build-time value of CONFIG_NET_L2_ETHERNET_RESERVE_HEADER, with no check that the packet actually has that headroom, and then called net_buf_push(pkt->buffer, hdr_len). Only Ethernet TX allocations reserve that space: net_pkt_alloc_buffer() invokes the L2 alloc hook (ethernet_l2_alloc()) only when is_pkt_tx() is true and the packet's interface is the Ethernet interface.
A packet that was allocated by a different L2 and then handed to Ethernet for transmission therefore has too little (usually zero) headroom. Such packets are produced by ordinary routing and tunnelling paths: net_route_packet_if() re-targets a received packet to another interface when CONFIG_NET_IPV4_FORWARDING / CONFIG_NET_IPV6_FORWARDING are enabled (for example an 802.15.4/OpenThread or PPP interface forwarding to Wi-Fi/Ethernet), net_route_ipv6_mcast_forward_packet() forwards an RX-slab clone that carries no reserve, and the IPIP tunnel interface_send() prepends an outer IP header allocated on the virtual interface. In these configurations a remote or adjacent attacker triggers the condition simply by sending traffic that the device forwards.
Because net_buf_simple_push() only asserts on the headroom bound, a build without CONFIG_ASSERT (and without the newer CONFIG_NET_BUF_HARDENING) moves the fragment data pointer below the start of its data block and writes 14 bytes — 18 with VLAN — of Ethernet header out of bounds. With the default fixed-size buffer pools this overwrites the tail of the neighbouring buffer's payload or memory preceding the pool array; with variable-size pools it overwrites the buffer reference count and the heap chunk header. The attacker controls neither the written bytes nor the offset, so the practical impact is memory corruption leading to a crash, packet corruption, or heap inconsistency rather than controlled code execution. The fix takes the in-place path only when net_buf_headroom(pkt->buffer) is large enough and otherwise falls back to a separate header fragment. |
| The GPIO syscall handlers in drivers/gpio/gpio_handlers.c did not validate the pin argument supplied by a user-mode caller. z_vrfy_gpio_pin_configure(), z_vrfy_gpio_pin_get_config() and z_vrfy_gpio_pin_interrupt_configure() verified only the device object (K_SYSCALL_DRIVER_GPIO() / K_SYSCALL_OBJ()) and then passed the caller-supplied gpio_pin_t straight through to z_impl_gpio_pin_*() and on to the driver. The only pin check in include/zephyr/drivers/gpio.h was __ASSERT(gpio_port_pin_is_supported(cfg->port_pin_mask, pin), ...), which compiles to nothing unless CONFIG_ASSERT is enabled, so in a production build no check existed at all.
GPIO drivers use pin as a shift count and as an array index on the documented assumption that it is a pin the controller supports. On STM32, for example, gpio_stm32_pin_interrupt_configure() turns pin into an EXTI line and stm32_gpio_intc_set_irq_callback() writes data->cb[line_num].cb and data->cb[line_num].data into a NUM_EXTI_LINES-entry array (default 16) in drivers/interrupt_controller/intc_gpio_stm32.c, guarded only by a compiled-out __ASSERT_NO_MSG(); the same function then reads exti_irq_table[line_num] and calls irq_enable() on the result. Other controllers index fixed-size per-pin configuration tables the same way — drivers/gpio/gpio_ite_it8xxx2_v2.c reads an MMIO base pointer out of wuc_base[8] with the caller's pin and performs a read-modify-write through it.
The issue is reachable only in builds with CONFIG_USERSPACE=y (the file is compiled under that symbol), by a user-mode thread that has been granted access to a GPIO device object. Such a grant is intended to authorize control of that port's pins; the missing validation instead lets the thread drive a supervisor-mode out-of-bounds write of a function pointer and an associated void * past a kernel .bss array, and out-of-bounds reads that feed irq_enable() and MMIO accesses — an escape from the user-mode sandbox that can lead to kernel memory corruption, arbitrary code execution, or a crash.
The fix validates pin against the controller's gpio_driver_config.port_pin_mask with gpio_port_pin_is_supported() in every pin-taking z_vrfy_ handler and returns -EINVAL otherwise, complemented by an unconditional pin >= GPIO_MAX_PINS_PER_PORT range check added to the shared z_impl_gpio_pin_*() inlines. |
| Improper Neutralization of Special Elements Used in a Template Engine ('Server-Side Template Injection') in MacroScreenRenderer in Apache OFBiz 24.09 before 24.09.08 on all platforms allows a remote authenticated attacker holding only the two view permissions of a control-servlet webapp (e.g. CATALOG_VIEW and OFBTOOLS_VIEW on /catalog, held by OFBiz's own shipped order-entry clerk role) to execute arbitrary operating system commands as the OFBiz service account with a single GET request, by placing an apostrophe followed by FreeMarker expression source in a screen link parameter value, because renderLink concatenates link parameter values verbatim between apostrophes into an unquoted, unescaped template-source string that is compiled and evaluated at render time, allowing the injected expression to reach the allow-listed FlexibleStringExpander.expandString call and, through a runtime-assembled Groovy interpolation, unsandboxed code execution. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 24.09.08, which fixes this issue. |
| Authentication Bypass by Capture-replay in ExternalLoginKeysManager in Apache OFBiz 24.09 before 24.09.08 on all platforms allows a remote unauthenticated attacker who captures a live externalLoginKey value to obtain a complete, cookie-free, reusable session as the user who issued it, in every webapp that user can reach, because checkExternalLoginKey runs as a global preprocessor ahead of both the CSRF and authentication checks and accepts the key as a bearer credential that is never bound to a client, never expires, and is not invalidated after use, while the framework itself both appends live keys to every cross-webapp link it renders and, via WidgetWorker's unvalidated inter-app link target, lets an authenticated user's key be attached to an attacker-chosen absolute URL and delivered directly to the attacker's own server. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 24.09.08, which fixes this issue. |
| A user with read access to Grafana's server logs, or to a log store they are shipped to, can recover the OAuth and OIDC access, refresh and ID tokens of users who sign in through the Generic OAuth, Google or GitLab providers. Grafana writes these tokens to its logs unredacted when an access or ID token is not a valid JWT, when the ID token is missing (at debug level) or is not a string (exposure of sensitive information in log files). The exposure is bounded by the scopes granted to the configured OAuth client. |
| Database backups are vulnerable to offline attacks. Backups created using a version prior to the patched version are still vulnerable. AXIS Camera Station Pro automatically creates one more such backup for recovery purpose when the update is applied. Delete all these backups and change the credentials stored in AXIS Camera Station Pro. |
| Improper neutralization of input during web page generation ('cross-site scripting') vulnerability in Fazile BACAK DefterAsist Financial Advisor Platform allows Stored XSS.
This issue affects DefterAsist Financial Advisor Platform: through 2026-10-27. |
| A Blind SQL Injection vulnerability in Futurum Software’s management software, caused by a lack of adequate validation and sanitisation of user-provided inputs in queries to the private area’s database, as well as by an incorrect WAF configuration. This weakness allows the protection mechanisms to be bypassed solely by sending manipulated HTTP requests. Successful exploitation of the vulnerability could allow an unauthenticated attacker to execute arbitrary queries against the database, extract its complete structure and gain access to sensitive customer information, including personally identifiable information (PII). |
| A heap out-of-bounds read flaw was found in libsoup. When parsing multipart HTTP messages, an integer type mismatch between the caller and soup_headers_parse() can cause the length parameter to be incorrectly truncated, leading to a heap buffer over-read. A remote attacker could use this flaw to crash an application using libsoup or potentially disclose heap memory contents. |
| A security flaw has been discovered in OpenBMB Internet of Agents up to 9d78e88e47160eb42ee1ee8538c05e1c2c47877a. This affects the function ConnectionManager.connect of the file im_server/app.py of the component WebSocket Connection Manager. The manipulation of the argument agent_name results in missing authentication. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploit has been released to the public and may be used for attacks. This product takes the approach of rolling releases to provide continious delivery. Therefore, version details for affected and updated releases are not available. The project was informed of the problem early through an issue report but has not responded yet. |
| A flaw has been found in agentscope-ai AgentScope up to 2.0.8. This affects the function check_permissions of the file src/agentscope/tool/_builtin/_bash.py of the component Bash Tool. This manipulation causes incorrect authorization. Remote exploitation of the attack is possible. The exploit has been published and may be used. Upgrading to version 2.0.9 mitigates this issue. Patch name: 6b43b13a46401e86abd3defeed9a8bfe5b37bc6d. It is recommended to upgrade the affected component. |
| A vulnerability was detected in agentscope-ai AgentScope up to 2.0.11. The impacted element is the function subprocess.Popen of the file src/agentscope/mcp/_config.py of the component MCP Workspace API. The manipulation of the argument command results in os command injection. The attack may be launched remotely. The exploit is now public and may be used. The pull request to fix this issue awaits acceptance. |
| The activestorage gem before 8.1.4.1 for Ruby on Rails, when ImageMagick attachment processing occurs, can allow server read and write operations (e.g., reading secret_key_base) because the ImageMagick analyzer runs when a file is attached, and there is not an ImageMagick security policy to block unintended functionality. |
| A security vulnerability has been detected in mathurvishal CloudClassroom-PHP-Project. Impacted is an unknown function of the file studentdetails.php. The manipulation leads to execution after redirect. Remote exploitation of the attack is possible. The exploit has been disclosed publicly and may be used. This product follows a rolling release approach for continuous delivery, so version details for affected or updated releases are not provided. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way. |
| A vulnerability was found in VStarcam O-KAM Client 1.3.3.32. Affected by this vulnerability is the function FUN_10003EA0 in the library DevDll_925.dll. The manipulation results in stack-based buffer overflow. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploit has been made public and could be used. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way. |
