CVSS v3.1 |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
blktrace: fix __this_cpu_read/write in preemptible context
tracing_record_cmdline() internally uses __this_cpu_read() and
__this_cpu_write() on the per-CPU variable trace_cmdline_save, and
trace_save_cmdline() explicitly asserts preemption is disabled via
lockdep_assert_preemption_disabled(). These operations are only safe
when preemption is off, as they were designed to be called from the
scheduler context (probe_wakeup_sched_switch() / probe_wakeup()).
__blk_add_trace() was calling tracing_record_cmdline(current) early in
the blk_tracer path, before ring buffer reservation, from process
context where preemption is fully enabled. This triggers the following
using blktests/blktrace/002:
blktrace/002 (blktrace ftrace corruption with sysfs trace) [failed]

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
drm/msm: Recover HW before retire hung submit
During recovery, it is not safe to retire the hung submit before we
recover the GPU. Retiring the submit triggers BO free and that can
result in GPU pagefaults since the GPU may be actively accessing those
BOs.
To fix this, retire the submits after gpu recovery is complete in
recover_worker().

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ASoC: qcom: Fix uninitialized pointer dmactl
In the case where __lpass_get_dmactl_handle is called and the driver
id dai_id is invalid the pointer dmactl is not being assigned a value,
and dmactl contains a garbage value since it has not been initialized
and so the null check may not work. Fix this to initialize dmactl to
NULL. One could argue that modern compilers will set this to zero, but
it is useful to keep this initialized as per the same way in functions
__lpass_platform_codec_intf_init and lpass_cdc_dma_daiops_hw_params.
Cleans up clang scan build warning:
sound/soc/qcom/lpass-cdc-dma.c:275:7: warning: Branch condition
evaluates to a garbage value [core.uninitialized.Branch] |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
bpf: Reject variable offset alu on PTR_TO_FLOW_KEYS
For PTR_TO_FLOW_KEYS, check_flow_keys_access() only uses fixed off
for validation. However, variable offset ptr alu is not prohibited
for this ptr kind. So the variable offset is not checked.
The following prog is accepted:
func#0 @0

0: (bf) r6 = r1 ; R1=ctx() R6_w=ctx()
1: (79) r7 = *(u64 *)(r6 +144) ; R6_w=ctx() R7_w=flow_keys()
2: (b7) r8 = 1024 ; R8_w=1024
3: (37) r8 /= 1 ; R8_w=scalar()
4: (57) r8 &= 1024 ; R8_w=scalar(smin=smin32=0,

var_off=(0x0; 0x400))
6: (79) r0 = *(u64 *)(r7 +0) ; R0_w=scalar()
7: (95) exit
This prog loads flow_keys to r7, and adds the variable offset r8
to r7, and finally causes out-of-bounds access:

Fix this by rejecting ptr alu with variable offset on flow_keys.
Applying the patch rejects the program with "R7 pointer arithmetic
on flow_keys prohibited". |
| A flaw was found in GCC. When an application calls the erase_if function on a binary heap priority queue in libstdc++, the library reallocates storage but fails to update its internal entry pointer. An attacker capable of triggering this operation can exploit this use-after-free condition, leading to a Denial of Service (DoS) via an application crash or potential memory corruption. |
| Ivanti Connect Secure 22.8R2.4 mishandles the manner in which the dsinvoked broker trusts DSCache configuration data, leading to privilege escalation to root, as exploited in the wild in October 2026. |
| On GPU systems with the security vulnerability fix for CVE-2026-49746 applied, the mapping range of graphics buffers is limited which causes errors when the mapping outside of that range.
Integer truncation caused when mapping GPU buffer pages in the buffer’s range 0GB - 4GB, produces error and limits the functionality of the kernel mode driver. |
| A web page that contains unusual WebGPU content loaded into the GPU GLES render process can trigger a OOB read and/or write crash in the GPU GLES user-space shared library. On certain platforms, when the process executing graphics workload has system privileges this could enable further exploits on the device. |

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
drm/amdgpu: keep the eviction fence until the last handle is closed
amdgpu_gem_object_close() detaches the user queue eviction fence from
the BO before it checks bo_va->ref_count, so closing any handle of a BO
removes the fence, even when the file still has another handle to the
BO and the bo_va with its GPU mappings stays. The BO can then be evicted
without suspending the user queues of the file, which keep accessing it
through mappings that are only marked for update.
Seen on navi31 with a SDMA user queue: a BO opened twice in the same
file (GEM_FLINK + GEM_OPEN) loses its eviction fence when the second
handle is closed (traced attach/detach of the fence):
attach bo=ffff8c78a6c84c00
GEM_CLOSE handle=7
detach bo=ffff8c78a6c84c00
while handle 6 and the mapping are still in use.
Only detach the fence when the last reference to the bo_va goes away,
matching amdgpu_gem_object_open(), which attaches it only when the
bo_va is created. With this the fence stays until the file is closed.
